The School District Sales Manager, as part of the Educational Outreach Department at PragerU Kids, is responsible for expanding our presence in every state at the school district level. This involves targeting large public and private school districts, charter schools, and homeschool associations. The primary objective is to penetrate the education market, establish partnerships, and garner press attention for school launch announcements. The role includes developing tailored strategies for each school district, establishing partnerships, collaborating with internal teams to implement resonating content, and managing relationships with district staff, state legislators, and non-profits in the education sector. This position reports to the Director of Education and Educational Outreach.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Expand the PragerU Kids School Initiative to leading public school districts, charter schools and private school associations nationally where we are approved partners
    • Work with the Director of Educational Outreach to align strategies and tactical goals for each state strategically
    • Collaborate with the Marketing team to penetrate the school market and ensure successful implementation of partnerships
  • Execute partnership agreements and maximize press coverage for school announcements
  • Collaborate with Education, Creative, and Content Development teams to create compelling content for the school market
  • Provide progress reports to the Director of Educational Outreach and internal teams
  • Project manage state partnerships implementation and press events
  • Be open to additional opportunities and internal projects as they arise

Successful Candidates Will Possess:

  • 7-10+ years of overall work experience, with a focus on selling to school districts
  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field (Master's preferred)
  • Proven experience in partnership development, preferably in the education sector in a sales capacity
  • Strong understanding of the K-12 education landscape and relevant stakeholders
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and project management skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be able to travel ~5-10% of the time
  • Experience in managing press events and engaging with media outlets is a plus
  • Flexible with ambiguity, changing priorities, and overlapping responsibilities within the internal team

Salary Range: The salary target for this role is $100,000 - $120,000+. Final offer amounts depend on multiple factors including candidate experience and expertise, and most recent market data. This position is eligible for an annual bonus based on personal and company performance, in addition to our robust benefits package. The final candidate hired may potentially have less or more experience than originally posted as per job description, and if this happens, an updated salary range may be used for the final hiring package.
