The VP of Marketing will direct/co-direct, and oversee a department of 35+, and report to the CMO. We’re looking for a creative and efficient leader skilled at building and motivating teams, but can also ‘do’ the work and won’t just delegate. This is a roll-up-your-sleeves, entrepreneurial organization top-to-bottom requiring vision AND execution abilities.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead the marketing team as #2 to CMO
  • Management & oversight of in-house marketing disciplines and staff members in collaboration with CMO, i.e.
    • Graphic Design
    • Paid Advertising and Digital Acquisition
    • Web/Apps/Data
    • Social Media
    • Brand/PR
    • Email Marketing/Online Fundraising
  • Evaluate opportunities for increasing revenue growth primarily through online fundraising and email/brand partnerships
  • Initiate, cultivate, and optimize digital marketing campaigns and efforts - ensure we have true, integrated marketing and 360 degree campaigns with our key initiatives
  • Prioritize marketing projects and allocate resources accordingly

Successful candidates will possess:

  • 7-to-10+ years of experience within marketing departments
  • Have successfully managed 7-10+ direct reports
  • Strong knowledge of digital marketing (paid ads, social, email marketing, online fundraising/revenue growth), along with web and mobile savviness
  • Innate understanding of brand and integrated marketing and can roll up their sleeves to initiate, vision and execute on key marketing campaigns
  • Excellent communication and project management skills
  • Passion and understanding of not just our vision/mission, but also our presenters/talent, shows, and the conservative media landscape

Salary Range: The salary target for this role is $150,000 - $200,000. Final offer amounts depend on multiple factors including candidate experience and expertise, and most recent market data. This position is eligible for an annual bonus based on personal and company performance, in addition to our robust benefits package.
