Location: Los Angeles, California (Hybrid: 1 day a week in office)

This is a business development role with heavy phone contact combined with accurate data management. To be successful in this role you must enjoy a challenge, be well spoken, accurately track your progress in our database, and feel comfortable engaging with potential high capacity donors who want to save America as much as you do. Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Build pipeline of potential foundation funders and planned giving/legacy supporters (gifts via Wills and estate plans)
  • Cold call mission-aligned foundations to attain RFPs (including speaking with gatekeepers, board members, and other high net worth individuals)
  • Follow up personally with individual supporters who have indicated interest in adding PragerU to their Will
  • When appropriate, lift qualified leads to other fundraisers
  • Record detailed progress of outreach in database
  • Partner with team members to send proposals and other materials
  • Other tasks as assigned

Successful Candidates Will Possess:

  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills and a can-do, self-starter attitude, no ego
  • No call reluctance, as this position entails cold calling must have the ability to stay motivated while working to break through to potential prospects
  • Eagerness to work in a fast-paced work environment — and ability to get up to speed quickly, solve problems independently, and juggle multiple assignments
  • Discernment on when to know when to ask for help
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Motivation to develop relationships and work collaboratively across the department and the organization
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Ability to problem-solve quickly

Salary Range: The salary target for this role is $60,000 - $72,000. Final offer amounts depend on multiple factors including candidate experience and expertise, and most recent market data. This position is eligible for an annual bonus based on personal and company performance, in addition to our robust benefits package.
