Reporting to the CEO, the Director of Operations will have proven experience in strategic oversight of program operations, executive-level advising and foresight to anticipate issues and resolve them before they occur. We have a blend of programming for both grown-ups and children alike, and our day-to-day functions may span across fundraising, marketing, operational and content production elements. Familiarity in all is ideal, though we are happy to help train up someone with a solid background in one or more of our program backgrounds.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Help build operational efficiency and movement on our key initiatives
  • Strategize with all team leads (marketing, production, fundraising, kids teams) to ensure we’re spending time where we should be and optimize across the board wherever possible
  • Ensure successful communication across departments and operationalize how we chainlink relevant information up and down the organization
  • Successfully drive projects forward, identify the bottlenecks or issues, provide the CEO with any relevant information on the opposing views or challenges and propose resolutions that enable the projects to proceed and succeed.
  • Work with staff to develop systems to ensure consistent, high-quality program management - repeatable projects should have SOP’s (standard operating procedures) to limit risks and ensure successes
  • Review internal and external communications: drafting company newsletters, reports, pitch decks, speeches or presentations for the CEO as needed
  • Be a go-between for staff, executives and CEO

Successful Candidates Will Possess:

  • 10-15+ years in a relevant management role
  • Polished, excellent communicator in written and verbal form
  • Extremely versatile, dedicated to optimizing productivity, able to iterate in a quick-moving fashion
  • Experience planning and leading strategic initiatives alike
  • Ability to build positive relationships with all stakeholders (staff, donors, Board Members, etc.)
  • Dedicated with a servant leadership mindset to help the Company and CEO succeed as mission #1
  • Happy to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, and thrive in a complex environment with multiple priorities
  • Work well in teams /collaboratively with no ego, committed to learning the system first before trying to change the system
  • Has great ability to forecast issues before they arise, and great cognitive abilities
  • Passion for PragerU's mission to further what we call "Americanism" and familiarity with the concepts espoused in our digital content

Salary Range: The salary target for this role is $150,000 - $200,000+. Final offer amounts depend on multiple factors including candidate experience and expertise, and most recent market data. This position is eligible for an annual bonus based on personal and company performance, in addition to our robust benefits package. The final candidate hired may potentially have less or more experience than originally posted as per job description, and if this happens, an updated salary range may be used for final hiring package.
